- Preparation of a field hospital (Giohar) and a mobile clinic.
- Creation of 6 treatment posts (Mogadishu, Balad, Bulo Burti, Giohar, Belet Uen, Mataban) with the performance of 202,290 medical visits;
- 8,859 days of hospitalization;
- 558 surgeries;
- 32,188 veterinary interventions;
- 190,616 pesticide treatments and disinfestations.
- Autonomous distribution of foodstuffs: 2,467 q, plus 1,672 family parcels;
- Autonomous distribution of clothing: 10,972 Saharan-type uniforms for the Somali police, 28,590 items for the civilian population, 3,200 blankets;
- 22 restructured and fed orphanages;
- 100 assisted schools, with the distribution of 22,000 textbooks and teaching materials and stationery;
- 10 potable water wells restored.
Summary of operational activities
- 318 raids/searches;
- 785 checkpoints carried out;
- 568 missions to escort humanitarian aid convoys with the use of 1,675 vehicles.
- 8,885 flight hours for AVES (Army Aviation) helicopters;
- 5,497,450 kilometers traveled by Army vehicles;
- 3,926 pieces of heavy and light weapons seized;

RECOGNITION OF THE SOMALI PEOPLE
ITALFOR personnel received great affirmations of esteem from the Somali population, even after the events of 2 July. The nodal point of the Italian work - in the eyes of the Somalis - was the continuous humanitarian activity.
Naturally, this did not mean that, in the face of operational activities, the Italians would have pulled back or would not have been up to the task required
